This week DTU Chemical and Biochemical Engineering had a visit from the new Chair of DTU - Technical University of Denmark's Board of Governors, Margrethe Vestager. She got a tour of our department, including our GMO lab and heard about our Power-to-X and Carbon capture projects, fermentation and downstream and the digitalization of our pilot plant. Our new Chair was clearly interested in learning about the research at our deparment and she greeted everyone she met.
Margrethe Vestager is the former European Commissioner for Competition and Executive Vice President of the European Commission and showed great interest in our work related to climate, environment and industry.
